Celebrating Maddie: A Driven Graduate and Inspiring Technician at Toyota of Corvallis

At Toyota of Corvallis, we’re honored to celebrate the accomplishments of one of our outstanding technicians—Maddie, who recently graduated from Linn-Benton Community College (LBCC) with a degree in Automotive Technology.

Maddie is a strong, kind, and hardworking individual who has always loved learning by doing. From her early days working in shops during high school, she knew that being hands-on was where she thrived. That natural curiosity and love for mechanics helped her discover that a career as a technician was the perfect fit.

While attending LBCC, Maddie developed essential skills that directly apply to her work here at Toyota of Corvallis. School gave her the opportunity to expand her knowledge beyond the basics, learning how to work on a wide variety of vehicles and systems. She especially enjoys suspension work, where precision and attention to detail are key—something Maddie excels at.

Balancing school and work wasn’t always easy. Maddie shares that she learned an important life lesson along the way: sometimes you need to slow down. Juggling multiple responsibilities can feel overwhelming, but she reminds us that with patience and persistence, it’s always worth it in the end.

Looking ahead, Maddie is excited about the future of the automotive industry, particularly the advancements in hybrid and EV technologies. She’s eager to keep learning and adapting as the industry evolves—always ready to take on new challenges and grow her skills.

Her advice to future students entering the trade?
“Have the right support system around you. It can feel like a lot sometimes, but surrounding yourself with people who believe in you makes all the difference.”

We are incredibly grateful to have Maddie as part of our team. Her quick learning, positive attitude, and dedication make her a vital part of our shop and an inspiration to those around her. Maddie represents the best of what’s to come in the automotive world, and we can’t wait to see all the great things she’ll continue to accomplish.
