Who the OSU Sustainability Club Is

The Oregon State University Sustainability Club is a student-led organization focused on promoting environmental awareness, sustainable practices, and climate-forward solutions on campus and beyond. Through education, collaboration, and hands-on experiences, the club empowers students to explore how sustainability can be applied in real-world settings.

Their work includes:

  • Sustainability education and advocacy

  • Campus and community engagement

  • Learning opportunities outside the classroom

  • Exploring innovative approaches to environmental responsibility

The club plays an important role in shaping future leaders who care deeply about the planet and their communities.

 

Sharing Our LEED Platinum Building as a Learning Tool

One of the ways we’re proud to support the OSU Sustainability Club is by opening our doors for tours of our LEED Platinum–certified facility.

Toyota of Corvallis is the first LEED Platinum Certified Toyota dealership in the world, and our building was intentionally designed to serve as a real-world example of sustainable design and operation. Through guided tours, students can see firsthand how sustainability principles translate into a functioning, modern business environment.

During these tours, we share:

  • How LEED design impacts energy efficiency and environmental health

  • Sustainable materials and building practices

  • Renewable energy use and long-term environmental planning

  • How businesses can be part of climate solutions
